Jim received his real estate license in 2010 and joined the Midwestern Realty Group team after retiring from teaching at the Calhoun County Area Career Center Battle Creek, where he taught marketing education for 26 years.

Jim grew up in Coldwater and graduated from Western Michigan University. He lived in Battle Creek from 1984-2007 and now lives on Bartholomew Lake, part of the Coldwater-Marble Lake Chain with his wife, Debbie. Jim has 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren.

Jim is a member of the Branch County Association of Realtors, the Michigan Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors, as well as the Sons of the American Legion in Quincy.

Jim takes pride in doing the best possible job for his real estate clients. He is thorough and particular with every aspect of the real estate buying and selling process. His in-depth understanding of home construction is an asset to all who work with him.

When Jim is not doing real estate, he enjoys working in his shop and enjoying life on the lake.
