Doug received his real estate license in 1987 after leaving Conrail Railways where he was a train dispatcher for several years. 

During Doug’s real estate career, he has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute accreditation, also known as GRI. This accreditation takes many hours of education and class time, resulting in very few Realtors having earned it. Doug believes that the best investment on earth is earth, and he likes to help people make that investment.

In addition to being a train dispatcher, Doug also worked as an aide at a spinal cord and brain injury clinic and is a paralegal. Doug also worked for a home builder for several years, where he gained knowledge of home construction, building codes, and construction issues.

Besides his passion for real estate, Doug is an avid golfer and enjoys working in his yard with his rose plants. He owns his home in Quincy where enjoys visits with his three children and six grandchildren.
